Enterprise content management software will enable consistency in procedures through process automation

Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada (November 5, 2014) – Microdea Inc. today announces that Transport Continental Inc. (TCI) of Pharr, TX has selected the full Synergize® software suite - including Driver Recruitment, Carrier Onboarding, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Carrier Confirmation modules – to manage the 28,000 documents that they handle in a typical year. Integrated with transportation management system TMWSuite™, the workflow structure of Synergize will enable TCI to set up processes for consistent handling of specific shipping document types, and lock in accountability.

TCI’s primary business is flatbed trucking in all 48 contiguous states, to and from Mexico, plus they operate as far as Canada, which adds to the complexity and volume of paperwork for each shipment. They take pride in paying their 65 company drivers and 65 owner / operators within 24 hours of proof of delivery (POD). With document types ranging from PODs and BOLs to carrier permits to accounts payable material for both the shop and the logistics arms of their business, TCI plans to add Synergize email inbox capture to their existing scanning process, saving paper and improving retrieval time.
