Move to electronic Proof of Delivery leads auto hauling industry
Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada (April 16, 2015) – Microdea Inc. today announces that Centurion Auto Logistics has selected Microdea’s Synergize document management system to automate, manage, and electronically retrieve information associated with their auto deliveries. Automated workflows are planned for Accounts Payable, Order Entry, and Billing & Settlement functions, allowing Centurion to cut their time to bill and improve cash flow.
By obtaining the Proof of Delivery electronically at the time of delivery, Centurion expects to reduce overhead costs such as bulk paper buying, correct discrepancies in a timely manner, and eliminate administrative time spent on sorting, filing, and retrieval. In addition, since Synergize will be integrated with their existing transportation management hardware and software products, Centurion anticipates fewer IT support issues.
According to Rick Ingram, CPA, President / CEO, “This will be a complete turnaround of how we conduct our business. Implementing Synergize will allow us to free up our manpower for meaningful work in our auto logistics business, rather than organizing and filing documents. We anticipate having more time to go after new business and reduce dead head miles.”
States Microdea CEO Steve Divitkos, “We’re delighted to welcome Centurion Auto Logistics to the Synergize family. We look forward to putting our accumulated knowledge and experience to work to help the Centurion team achieve their operational goals.”
