Business Challenges

In 2003, the management of Haney Truck Line, LLC, was relying on an unproductive, manual and paper-based system to assemble Proof of Delivery (POD’s) receipts. Haney Truck Line required a more efficient means to manage POD receipts from 5 remote offices.


After evaluating several document management solutions, Haney chose to partner with Microdea. Following the Synergizedeployment, POD documents now enter the system via a scanning station at the Yakima headquarters or the Fresno, CA terminal, and are indexed by a billing and payroll staff member. The POD’s automatically update the dispatch system and are routed to the appropriate billing member.
