Synergize Scan Capture enables paper documents to be systematically captured and stored in standard electronic formats. By converting paper documents to images, Synergize provides faster retrieval of business information, reduces physical storage costs, and enables documents to be securely utilized and shared.
Documents can be scanned with a Kofax VRS™-compliant scanner and then scanned (individually or in large batches) into user-defined scan scenarios. These scenarios are easily-customized to meet enterprise-wide or departmental business needs. The documents are scanned, indexed, and routed into Synergize, for either archival, workflow processing or further business process automation.
The Synergize Scan and Index architecture allows for a flexible combination of on-site, distributed or detached scanning and indexing. The flexibility allows organizations to easily capture documents from anywhere, with a user-friendly, powerful and highly configurable capture tool set.
