Records Management

Microdea’s Records Management Module extends the Synergize Document Management System, enabling organizations to track and manage electronic records through their entire lifecycle, from creation (or receipt), to maintenance and use, to cut off and finally disposition (destruction or transfer). Organizations are able to easily access records from a central repository with all the security and auditing capabilities necessary to meet governance and regulatory compliance requirements.

Legal obligations concerning document preservation and security are becoming increasingly stringent. Organizations are challenged with the responsibility of having reliable and sufficient records management policies, procedures and initiatives in place. Maintaining the integrity, tracking the chain of custody, and managing the retention and destruction of records is a high priority for many organizations in today’s economic environment.

The Synergize Records Management Module provides a solid basis for good corporate governance. All records are stored in a secure, collaborative system and are easily accessible to certified users through Synergize’s web-based design. Synergize actively supports the practices of record identification, classification, archiving, retrieval, retention, and destruction.
