Solution Overview
TMW-Synergize™ for Carrier Management helps Freight Brokers to gather information on new (“Prospective”) carriers, maintain accurate records on current (“Approved”) carriers, make that data available to the dispatch system and then select the right carriers to work with.
Selecting the right carriers can make a significant difference in profitability and customer satisfaction. TMW-Synergize™ for Carrier Management increases staff's productivity and effectiveness and helps freight brokers to select and maintain the carriers that meet their transportation requirements for risk, liability and insurance.
Process Management (Workflow)
As a prospective Carrier sends its application by fax, mail, web form or email TMW-Synergize™ for Carrier Management starts to work by assigning to all documents in the package a unique ApplicationID. Next, it compares key contents of the Application against a locally maintained database of contracting standards and rejecting any that fail to meet non-negotiable values as determined by corporate best practice. TMW-Synergize™ for Carrier Management then ensures that all required documents have been received before advancing the application package to the attention of the contracting personnel for more thorough evaluation.
In the process of confirming the Carrier Application, information requests to state agencies, FMCAS, Carrier411 and similar sources are captured and indexed by ApplicantID where they are automatically collated with the Carrier Application and all other documents sharing that unique value. As record requests are returned they are likewise captured and indexed by ApplicantID, with the completed application package advanced to the contracting professional for final evaluation.
If the Carrier meets contract criteria, their status is advanced to “Approved”. TMW-Synergize™ for Carrier Management has several intuitive methods for organizing data within the TMW-Synergize™ Web Explorer client software, including for example, enabling staff to quickly identify all approved applicants living in a select state and having a specific qualification.
