Solution Overview
TMW-Synergize™ for Carrier Management helps Freight Brokers to gather information on new (“Prospective”) carriers, maintain accurate records on current (“Approved”) carriers, and make that data available to the dispatch system and then select the right carriers to work with.
Selecting the right carriers can make a significant difference in profitability, risk and liability, and customer satisfaction. TMW-Synergize™ for Carrier Management increases staff's productivity and effectiveness and helps freight brokers to automate the process of establishing carrier relationships and maintaining the legal aspects of those relationships on a go forward basis.
Process Management (Workflow)
As a prospective Carrier submits its documentation, TMW-Synergize™ for Carrier Management starts to work by assigning to all documents in the package a unique ApplicationID. Next, it validates the documentation and ensures that pre-defined requirements have been met. For those Carriers that have not met the documentation requirements, the application package is brought to the attention of the contracting personnel for more thorough evaluation and follow-up.
Once complete application data has been provided and validated, TMW-Synergize will automatically gather data from state agencies, FMCAS, Carrier411 and similar sources, which is indexed by ApplicantID and automatically collated with the Carrier Application and all other documents sharing that unique value. As record requests are returned they are likewise captured and indexed by ApplicantID, with the completed application package advanced to the contracting professional for final evaluation. Once approved, the Carrier is advanced to be set up inside TMWSuite® for future contracting.
