Solution Overview
TMW-Synergize™ Freight Claims Management for TMWSuite® is an add-in module to Billing that improves responsiveness to claims by automating labor-intensive portions of the claims process and allowing all claims related documents, photos, and correspondences to be maintained in a single, secure location. Workflow ensures that these documents are processed in a timely manner consistent with corporate best practices.
Process Management (Workflow)
TMW-Synergize™ Freight Claims Management for TMWSuite® provides a flexible workflow tool that helps companies automate their claims process. On receipt of a claim, the solution will advance the documents for validation. The claim is either rejected, or sent for a managerial review and determined to be valid. Once validated, the claim amount is reviewed to determine if it is under the deductible amount and can be paid immediately. If the claim amount is over pre-defined thresholds it is sent to either the “Insurer” or “Settlement Required” queue. Once the claim is paid, addressed by the insurer, or settled, it is deemed complete and advanced to “Resolved”.
Automatic email notifications can be configured according to pre-defined time intervals to alert stakeholders and management if the claim has not been reviewed and validated, and alert administrative staff if the claim has not been paid.

The TMW-Synergize Freight Claims Management for TMWSuite® add-in is provided as a turn-key solution with a defined scope and configuration. Additional user licenses may be incrementally acquired, as well as any customization or other professional services.
