Toronto, ON, May 2011 – Microdea makes it easier for clinicians to review Emergency Department (ED) visits by patients at a 376-bed community-based teaching hospital.
As part of a multi-phase strategy to move to an integrated electronic patient record, St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Toronto, has gone live with a Synergize project by Microdea to make paper-based charts accessible on-line.
Topping St. Joseph’s list of requirements were ease of use, the ability to integrate with Allscripts’ Sunrise Clinical Manager and compliance with privacy and security needs, all of which were met by Microdea’s Synergize.
“We are delighted to welcome St. Joseph’s Health Centre to the growing Synergize family,” said Colin Ruskin, VP Business Development, Microdea.
